Therapeutic pool with sulfide-hydrogen sulfide water
Why exercise in water?
The therapeutic pool with sulfide-hydrogen sulfide water is a place where rehabilitation becomes a pleasure. Under the supervision of an experienced physiotherapist, participants perform exercises that – thanks to the properties of the water – are less straining on the joints while remaining highly effective.
- Movement in water is easier – the body becomes “lighter,” which benefits people with excess weight.
- Water supports balance and maintaining an upright posture.
- Exercises are adjusted to capabilities – from mild to more dynamic with resistance.
- Muscles work at different paces – slowly for relaxation, quickly for strengthening.
- Water at a temperature of 28–32°C acts relaxingly and supports the treatment of degenerative changes.
- Mineral components in the water stimulate the body and mind, positively affecting circulation, breathing, and well-being.
Who is it recommended for?
Water gymnastics is recommended for people with the following issues:
- neurological (paresis, post-stroke states),
- orthopedic (muscle atrophy, fractures, discopathy),
- rheumatic (RA, AS, degeneration),
- metabolic (diabetes, obesity),
- circulatory, and preventively – for healthy individuals.
